Ceremony and Timings
The Covid Response Awards will take place on Thursday 25 November 2021 at The Kia Oval.
Be one of the first to experience the brand new event space at The Kia Oval. The awards ceremony will be held in the 175 Suite, the largest purpose built space at the Kia Oval with floor to ceiling glass along the pitch facing walls. This room has access onto a private terrace for pre-dinner drinks as well as some picture perfect moments.
- 12.00: Drinks Reception
- 13.00: Luncheon and Awards Ceremony
- 16.30: Awards Finish followed by Networking and Bar (contactless payments)
- 18.00: Event Closes
Dress Code: Business Casual
The lunchtime ceremony will include a drinks reception, a delicious 3 course meal, half a bottle of wine per person, plus entertainment and the awards ceremony itself.
The Kia Oval

Travelling to The Kia Oval by public transport is quick and easy. The closest underground station is Oval which is on the Northern Line and it is also walking distance from Vauxhall Station which has both Victoria Line Underground and National Rail services. It is served by at least 5 buses.
From OVAL STATION: Turn left out of the station and cross at the traffic lights. Continue walking left down Harleyford road and the Oval is on your right hand side. The Galadari Stand is the large building on the right of the Pavilion, walk around the Oval to the right and you will see the reception.
From VAUXHALL STATION :When leaving the station walk through the tunnel towards Kennington. Cross at the traffic lights and walk down Harleyford Road to your right. As you walk down the road you will see the Kia Oval on your left follow the ground around and you will see the Galadari Stand reception.
Our priority is always the health, safety and happiness of our attendees and colleagues. Our aim is to ensure the event is as safe as possible and ask for the co-operation of all who attend.
Everyone attending the Awards will be asked to show proof of their Covid status (double vaccination, negative Covid test or proof of natural immunity) via the NHS Covid pass (if travelling from abroad please bring a copy of your Covid vaccine passport).
We would ask all guests who are not yet fully vaccinated to take a lateral flow test within the 24 hours prior to the Awards and register your result.
Lateral flow tests are readily available from local pharmacies or can be ordered online here. If you feel unwell on the day or test positive please do not travel to the event and let us know that you will be unable to attend, a substitute guest can attend in your place.
The Kia Oval will maintain existing covid protocols including:
- Hand-sanitising stations will be available.
- Deep cleaning and sanitisation of all public areas and event spaces will take place on a daily basis pre-occupation of the event space.
- Increased cleaning protocols during the set-up, rehearsals and event including sanitisation of all touch points
- during the event, frequent housekeeping attendance of bathrooms
